Icon to attend Payments Canada Summit

Icon have announced their attendance at the Payments Canada Summit, which takes place in Toronto from the 9th to the 11th May 2018. Gene Neyer, Icon’s Chief Strategy Officer, will be joining a panel discussion titled ‘Open Banking – Opportunities & Challenges’. Alongside other professionals in the industry, Gene will be on the panel to explore the shift in Open Banking that is taking place and what this could mean for the Canadian Banking ecosystem, and specifically on the Fintech community. How disruptive or invasive will Open Banking become in Canada?

The panel discussion will take place at 09:00am on 10th May.

Gene has extensive experience of advising financial and technology companies on various aspects of Payment Modernisation, and has over 30 years of experience in leadership roles in the payments industry.
Icon’s payments experts will also be on hand to discuss the changing global payments landscape and how banks need to be proactively responding to the challenges of Instant Payments and Open APIs.
